The Pilot

Not long ago you were selected and trained as the primary pilot of an experimental fighting machine. This machine, a steel colossus with an infinite capacity for violence, is the last line of defense against the apocalypse. By extension, you are the world’s mightiest guardian, an undefeatable prodigy at the head of an impossible engine of war.

Which is to say, it’s a very hard life and nobody understands.

The Pilot is a Skin about having to take regular breaks from teenage life to wreak catastrophic havoc upon the setting via the time-honored method of giant robot combat. It is the Pilot's task to win the hearts of their peers with their mystery-filled existence and effortless charm, and then casually and accidentally obliterate your house while battling this week's grave threat. Whatever their good points, the Pilot's problems are everyone's problems - they're the star of a different story, which intersects with yours only in the colossal scope of its violence.
