In a distant future, bizarre mutants rove the post-post-apocalyptic landscape, instruments on their backs and songs in their hearts as they band together in search of truth and beauty. The music they play is like nothing heard before or since, and yet it sounds strangely familiar to our ears.

MU! 8 Musics For The Altered Future is a collection of 8 resolution mechanics based around avant-garde musical techniques. These were originally devised for the game Marvelous Mutations & Merry Musicians by Wendi Y., and are meant to open up the range of outcomes for musicianship beyond success and failure. Engage in aesthetic and structural experimentation with the virulent Music That Murders The Universe, or obliterate structure entirely with the Music That Wonders! Melt down on stage with the Music To Break Your Soul In Half, or throw yourself wholeheartedly into the Music That Sucks! All these musics, all true and all beautiful, will serve not only in MMnMM, but also anywhere that you would like a song to have power, and many places where you wouldn't.

Pick up an instrument and let go; these are the Musics for the Altered Future, ready to transmit and receive from beyond the range of the ordinary.

I have no words to describe how much I love this. It’s amazing! You took stuff that were actually on my mind when making MMnMM, but I wasn’t smart enough to put into words, and mixed them with stuff I’d never think of and turned it into something that betters the game a lot.

Thank you so much, this was everything I hoped for when starting the bop!

I'm very happy that you like it! MMnMM rules and I'm glad to have added something to it!
